Model for A Day

After having Louis Pang to shot for our Pre-wedding photos

we were never plan and thought that

we will have a "Post-Wedding" series

We were so grateful been invited by Louis Pang Studio

to take part in Michael Greenberg workshop

Michael has been the recipient of the 1st place prize for

photojournalistic photographer two years in a row

winning the most awards in various categories in 2009

and winning the Grand Award in 2010

at the Wedding & Portrait Photographers International Association (WPPI)

And

He was recently been named as

one of the top 10 wedding photographers in Canada

by Canadian Industry Awards

very excited

today me and hubby will be the couple model in Michael's workshop

and we just cant wait to work with him

8.30am

start my make up and hair do at

level 29 @ The Gardens Midvalley Skyview 9

hubby falls asleep after taking this pic

he just got 3 hours sleep on the day before

poor guy~

after the make up

we were sent to the workshop

Michael is sharing his knowledge to those who eager to learn

we were sitting aside at the corner

and did learn something

hehe

participants in the workshop

mostly were professionals wedding photographer

came from all around the world

locals, Brunei, Australia, Middle East

and even UK

to learn and share their experiences together

posing in front of such a big crowd

with at least 10 flash flashing to your face

no matter how sleepy you are

you just cant fall asleep

At that time

we were totally awake and posing

like the Hollywood superstar

imagining walking on the red carpets

and paparazzi were shooting on us with flash.....flash....flash

Michael is sharing techniques how to control flash power

with supporting strong natural sunlight from the window

and shoot with limited lights available in indoor

shooting with light from background

Louis was just standing beside and watching us

2 top wedding photographers in the world were just meters away from me

feel so proud

demonstrating how to make use of the flash

to snap the background as well as the person into the pictures

It was a fun working day as a part-time model

which i was never thought i could be with my height limitation

haha

its even funny when some of them thought that we were professionals models

and said we were doing very well

with such good interaction in between

especially putting the face so near to each other at almost kissing level

this is because they never know we were actually the real couple

as in already Husband & Wife

they just thought we were the normal male & female model

funny

At the end of the sessions

we did learn things and we make new friends

but the biggest return is

we will get all the nice pictures shot by Michael

and also best shot from all the photographers in the workshop
