Happy Birthday on Hubby's Birthday @ Tanzini, G-Tower Hotel

It was hubby's birthday on the last last week....we went for a nice romantic dinner at Tanzini.

* After been urged by few fellows for the updates...and now finally the write up~!

We made the appointment for 7pm. Was there about 6.50pm...we were seated to a table near the entrance...aiks....i forgot to mention to have the best view seat. Hmm now its just too late to have a change....unexpectedly all the tables is fully booked for the day...even its just a Wednesday~!

some warm bread with few dipping sauces is served just when we settled down
olive oil with balsamic vinegar, chili oil with flakes and tomato paste

Quickly glance through the menu and placed our order.... we went to walk around the restaurant
and balcony

the balcony...with few sofa chairs could have a cocktail drink before the dinner

a nice scenery of downtown KL...too bad it was too dusty that time due by the construction next to the tower

our waiter followed us to the balcony to take us a picture
actually he was came to invite us back to our seat cause the appetizer is already served on our table....keke

Fruity Smoked Duck
Fresh Garden Salad with Plum Tomatoes, Grapes and Raspberry Dressing

This appetizer is superb~! The handling on the duck meat is superb~! It neither have the duckie smells or oily style duck meat...

instead it was clean and chilled with very nice looking pinkish color

when i chew it in my mouth it was like melting down and then my mouth is very fresh with the grapes and raspberry aromas~~~It was the best duckie meat i had than before~!

Goose Liver Terrine
"Cotta al Torcione" served with Fig Marmalade and Toasted Brioche

Velvety smooth terrine melt in mouth
put in on the toasted bread and eat along with the marmalade~ Best!

Wild mushroom soup
with Fresh Morel, Porcini, Shiitake, Eringi in Herbed Broth scented with Truffle
Always my favorite~!

Deconstructed Tiger Prawn Bisque
Smooth and creamy thick soup....with fresh tiger prawns crunchy chew in the mouth


Intermezzo
Mouthwash with Orange Earl Grey Sherbet
and mine Passion Fruit Sherbet

And be ready for the Main Course~!

Both me and hubby had the same main course ~ Aged Wagyu Tenderloin
Grain Fed Wagyu Tenderloin with Truffle Mash, Jumbo Asparagus, Chanterelle & Morel Mushroom

Hmm.....it was nice until i dunno how to express it....
only few words i could think of....."hou hou sik arghhhh"

The Petite Four Dessert

Strawberries & Chocolate Mousse Cake, Fresh Strawberries with Raspberry dressing, Chocolate Mint Macaroon, and lastly Mango Panna Cotta

It was such a great idea to offer this petite four from the menu instead i have to crack head choosing my dessert of the day...since im so greedy and think to have everything at once~! haha

Despite there were few bad review about Tanzini we read before we go, but i think its still the best if we could go and justify it on our own.

Tonight is quite a good surprising dinner. We came with low expectation but back home with great satisfaction.

Lastly not forget to mention....we were actually took the 5 course meal each of Rm135++ & Rm155++....

* Make sure you booked few days before your visit and remember to mention to have a nice view seat.
