Happy Birthday to Me

I had a very special birthday this year. Firstly i want to say "Thanks" to the Mr. Stomach Ache who had bring me big "surprise" of non-stop O Li Du since Friday night! 

Almost every half an hour im running to the toilet....bishh...plekkkk...prakkk

its very tiring~! huh...

Ok..back to the topic...another special moment of my birthday this year is that i don't exactly have a birthday cake...with candles

Ya it was all my fault...instead of 1 cake ....im very greedily to have many flavors of cake! hehe

hubby bought me 4 pieces of different flavor mille crepe ~ my favorite cake! 

 black forest flavor (*surprisingly good) & hazelnut flavor (taste like its with Nutella toppings)

 chocolate banana and the ultimate original flavor! Love it the most!

too bad that day the shop didn't prepare the flavor Rum & Raisin which was also my favorites too!

Early in the Sunday morning 7.30am......i heard king ling kang lang sounds from downstairs....

No no....my hubby is not on the bed...it must be him ...but what he is doing down there???

Hmm yum...it was my birthday today and he is making me the Love Breakfast ~!

 English Style ~ Egg Benedict

He find the recipe and learn the cooking 2 days ago

with very simple ingredient but turns out very special taste

 English muffin topped with bacon, poached eggs with Hollandaise sauce 

 Not yet taste...just looking at it ..already lum zi zi 

Thanks Hubby for waking up so early in the morning preparing breakfast for me~! 

I shall start to think of what special meal to prepare for his upcoming birthday too~! Stay Tuned! 

Moon-lite Dinner @ La Gomera, Neo Damansara

Always there are Spanish fine dining around klang valley, finally here comes an affordable Spanish cuisine.

La Gomera @ Neo Damansara was the 1st in Malaysia offering Spanish buffet. 

 Indoor seat & Outdoor Seat with garden view is available

we was arranged to sit at the indoor corner, but then we request to move and dine at the garden since today's weather is quite nice with breezy wind 

appetizer corner ~ mostly in Spanish style with minority western choice of salads

all of them are very tempting....have to control ourselves otherwise we are all stuffed only with the appetizer

and missed the more variety out there.

 Cazuela Marinera ~ hot seafood soup served just when we sit down with our first round food

Seafood combines with garlic, green onions and white wine ...such great an authentic Spanish soup! 

it could be nice to eat with the garlic rice ..but we dont want to stuff ourselves just with the rice and soup only

 Garlic rice with lamb cube, meatballs, stewed beef, fried chicken wings and baked pasta

Tried one each of the food we are almost KO after the 3rd round

now comes the 4th round ~ The Highlights of the Day

 Grilled Giant Grouper coated with coarse sea salt 

in chinese we call this dish 雪山飞狐

 yum yum 

everybody queue for the fish 

grilled with the sea salt its brings up the freshness taste of the fish itself 

we are already full but still feel like eating more of it!

Its quite tricky to find the restaurant, when you turn into Damansara Perdana, it was located at the building on the left side, before Wan's Corner.

KL First Turkey Restaurant @ Turkey Point, Seri Petaling

From now on....we dont need to wail till christmas only able to find and eat turkey. My sis found this restaurant from the online deal and bought the promotions coupon at RM9.90 for a set of turkey meal which priced at RM29.90 (menu price).

Last sat we went there for lunch, just a short drive away from my mother's house, its easily found at the 1st floor with the big banner hang at the windows.

they got quite a variety ...something very new!

skewed turkey spaghetti, turkey sui kao, turkey burger, curry turkey rice 

and many more!

took abt 10 minutes they served us our package meal 

RM9.90 for a mini-turkey drumstick rice with a bowl of soup + 1 choice of soft drinks

little girl can you finish it? Answer is NO!

look at the thickness meat of the turkey drumstick with the crunchy skin ~ Nice! 

when i de-boned it ....the pile meat was about 3 packs of chicken rice's quantity 

sincerely i cannot finish it ..btw the rice is very fragrant n nice ..its the oily rice! yum! 

From the menu, the food looks kinda pricey, but anyway its worth a try for a new kind of cook and taste from Mr. Turkey!

attended by 2,467,000 visitors in 2009. Wow!!

Early in the morning we are here at the entrance of the Imperial Apartments to avoid crowds.

The Imperial Palace acoomodated the Habsburg royals for over six centuries (1282-1918), during which time the Hofburg complex developed into one of the great power-houses of Europe.

The grand staircase going up will start the journey of Imperial Apartments. And also the journey we risking our life to take the following pictures which are strictly prohibited!

1400 rooms in the imperial, the first six rooms form the Sisi Museum, where a host of artifacts (poems, recipes, dresses, toiletries, portraits, jewelry and so forth) offer a fascinating insight into the tragic empress's private life.

Traditional costumes is displayed in the waiting room of Franz Josef.

I was scared by the blue alien at the opposite window of the waiting room. Its not a human! dunno what is that they put it there to scare people!

Audio guide is available free of charge to explain the function of each room in the apartment.

Family Dining room...but Empress Sisi was seldom attended dinner at the Dining room because she always wanna be on diet to keep her nice body figure.

The Gloriette

Built in 1775 as the last building constructed in the garden was used as a dining hall and festival hall as well as a breakfast room for emperor Franz Joseph I. The Gloriette today houses a cafe and gives the visitor a view of the city.

At the observation platform of the Gloriette overlooking Vienna.

The whole Schönbrunn complex with Tiergarten Schönbrunn, Palmenhause, Wustenhause and the Wagenburg. And this train can take you to any of the destination with EUR4 per ride. Its a really good service for the elderly but definitely not me..haha

I enjoy walking under the sun with the cool breeze on my face...towards the Tiergarten Schonbrunn ~ the zoo in the palace gardens that claims to be the oldest in the world!
