Birthday Dinner @ Delucca

My Birthday treats...hubby bring me for Italian food @ Delucca. 

 Delucca located within the buzz of city...however when comes to night...the ambiance at Delucca gives a sense of belonging.

After hours of battling with Mr. Stomach Ache ...im now hungry till can finish 1 whole elephant! 

 Medley Cultivated Mushroom soup with floating cream, served with garlic bread

 Panzanella Gamberetto

Tuscon bread salad with poached fresh water prawns, cherry tomatoes with shallot balsamic dressing 

 Caprese

 fresh buffalo mozzarella with vine tomatoes, chiffonade basil ...dressed up with citrus olive oil

 Hubby's main course ~ Saffron Pappardelle Duck Ragu
Braised duck seasoned with the world most's expensive spice ~ Saffron!

wine pairing with Cono Sur Merlot 2006 (Chile)

 My main course ~ Griglia pollo al mattone

wine pairing with Cono Sur Chardonnay 2008 (Chile)

 pan grilled spring chicken seasoned with rosemary and mushroom cinzano sauce

 Authentic Dessert of the Day ~ Tiramisu

quite a big piece and its good enough for 2 of us to finish it

Everything was so nice @ Delucca...food, services, ambiance...all thumbs up. There's only one thing to mention about it is quite HOT! I was in my leather jacket and getting sweat at the end of the dinner. We were complaining to the staff and only been told that the air-con is out of service today. 

Anyhow, that's doesn't spoilt our mood enjoying the dinner~!
