Dim Sum @ Sungai Buloh

Ya..i had my dim sum breakfast at Sungai Buloh...sounds very far rite...i'm not purposely to hunt food till here la...just hubby wanted to buy some plants at the old leprosy settlement ...so since we are around here...then just find a new place to eat la!

Browse thru the net and found recommendations from the forum...a lot of ppl suggesting this restaurant for Dim Sum...

feels like all the sungai buloh village ppl flock here for breakfast!

it was such a long queue around waiting for empty table....and ppl is eating keep occupying the table because its raining outside since i woke up in the morning ......luckily got 1 couple uncle n auntie very good....they offer us half of their table so that we get a seat without waiting....summore they share their pot of tea to us hehe....we dun need to order any drinks...that couple even share more interesting places of good food to us...will soon wanna try it out 1 by 1 ..ngek ngek ngek ngek

haih..its my bad habit again...once i see these balls balls balls...i just cant resist to take it

so at the end we were full stuck by these balls and only able to try that 2 special dish from Kong Mah...actually there got more nice and special dim sum recommended...but we only 2 person cant try that much....nvm....next time when going for the plants again then will come here for the other specialty dim sum...and MUST and GOTTA stop me from having the same dim sum again n again especially the balls~!

Call Me Dried Meat King of the King~!

Bak Kwa ~ a snack we cant miss during CNY

like it so much but i only buy it once a year

its not an seasonal food..instead we can buy it at anytime and anywhere

just dun feel like want to eat it so desperately at normal days

only when CNY...imagine your left hand holding the bak kwa

and right hand holding the shandy

bought this yummy Hock Bee Hiong Bak Kwa

why did i choose this brand???hmm....last week i read an interview article abt this brand

they claimed they are the Dried Meat King and

they explained why they never wanna innovate a new taste...

because they wanna stick to their specialized

BBQ honey bak kwa

yeah~! that's what attracted me..~!

Its surprisingly taste very good than other brands i tried before

but its still something missing

i think i like it to be more burnt

so than i grill it with my best investment in the kitchen ~ Oven

look at the reddish meat...

i on the temperature to 250'C and grill it kao kao

few minutes later.....

wow..see that 'chao da' bak kwa...and this is what i like...

i re-grill the bak kwa of the Dried Meat King ...so shall i deserve the title

still maintaining its juicy part ~ yummy~!

it was such an evil food during cny...these things will really make me put on so much weight~!

but since i only have it once a year...arghh DIET forget abt it first la!

Vanilla Sundae

i was always like to eat McD sundae when im craving for cheap n nice dessert

especially dipped it with the chocolate~! Yummy!

And now we spotted a new sundae which is as cheap as McD and yet it taste great too~!

spotted this the Rm1.50 which were so big and attractive

yum~! sundae in the paper cup...no biscuit ...

a bit different from McD ...

it was topped with shaved chocolate

smooth and creamy ice-cream

nice & refreshing after my happy shopping~!

Ever since my wedding dinner....most of my guest keep asking me abt the wine we served through out the night...we were so glad that everybody loves the wine~!!!

Ok..here's the reveal of the wine!

There is always expensive and cheap wine we can found on the rack....but we should never judge the wine by its price...expensive doesn't mean good...cheap doesn't mean bad...instead we should have let our taste bud to judge...as long as we like the wine...no matter its expensive or cheap..its a good wine at the end~!

Few years ago when i was still working around Sunway...this is the chicken rice shop that we always like to go for lunch~!

It was a stall at the food court in PJS10, Sunway

we reach there for early lunch...the queue is not long yet

it will usually get crowded around 1pm

my chicken rice set @ Rm4.30

love this specialty chilies with the fried ginger and coriander

see the inches thick of chicken breast

love the way they cut it ~ so generous

not like some of the chicken rice stall

like to piak piak the meat first to make it flat

so that can cut into few more pieces

very fragrant rice~!

I was transfer to work out of sunway few years ago but i still always miss this chicken rice...just too bad it only open on weekdays and worst only at lunch time....

everytime when i go shopping at sunway pyramid in weekend was never got no chance to eat it...luckily i still can go only on friday when we got our long lunch hours~!

Hmm...that day went shopping around Kuchai Lama and pass by this japanese restaurant....did notice it earlier too but never went..so today we decided to give it a try..since they got offer set lunch bento~!

Overall the food here is ok....portions is ngam ngam to the price and its not crowded ....for simple japanese lunch around Kuchai area this is good enuff~!
