First time i went to Taiping few months ago...were kinda rush on the schedule that day...stay for only 2 days 1 night...therefore i have no chance to try the specialty food there....especially the famous loh bak kuih!
Yesterday we came across this restaurant....Taiping Mali Cafe.....so without much thoughts we just walk in and hopefully to try something good.
My nasi kunyit with curry chicken @Rm6.50
with no other side dishes
only 2 pieces curry chicken and 2 pieces potato
hubby's Tao Eu Bak Rice @ RM7.90
with dao gua, egg, and some pork slices
and inches thick of oil
chee cheong fun with yam @ Rm4.50
the sauce were too watery and taste weird weird
Conclusion, this restaurant are totally disappointing! The food is kinda over priced with just so small portion of food worst than the amount of dish i can take from the mix rice stall!
Luckily they dont have the loh bak kuih.....i dun wanna spoilt my interest on the loh bah kuih before tasting the genuine one at Taiping.
Just try to avoid!

the banner outside the shop display different compare to what they serve.
Have u tried taiping Lang at puchong jaya, near leong ngah. My fren swore to me it serves best taiping food outside taiping!
